Assembled Resol VBus Board Home Assistant / ESPHome

Assembled Resol VBus-to-UART interface board — reads your Resol / DeltaSol solar thermal controller into Home Assistant via ESPHome.

Wire it to the VBus terminals on your controller and to an ESP32, and pull up to four temperature sensors, two pump-speed channels, operating hours and heat quantity straight into Home Assistant.

Note: heat-quantity readings need the controller's flow/return sensor fitted — without it, that value reads 0.

What you get:

A tested, ready-to-use ESPHome config for the DeltaSol BS/2 HE (and rebadges like Joule)

You supply: an ESP32 (or similar) + a few jumper wires. The board runs off the ESP's 3.3V.

Compatibility: reads any Resol / DeltaSol VBus controller — also sold under other names such as Viessmann/Vitosolic, Sonnenkraft and Kingspan. Many DeltaSol models (BS Plus, BS/2, C, CS2, CS4, CS Plus) are natively supported in ESPHome — just select the model. Other models are read by the board and set up with a short custom config.
