I'm giving away this Nespresso machine which can sometimes work and sometimes not. I find I have to reset it occasionally or leave unplugged for a while before it'll work and then it could work for one coffee or a week. It's hit and miss.
I was looking online and there are different suggestions on possible fixes like restoring to factory settings, descaling etc.

Anyway, it's going to recycling centre on the weekend if no one wants it by then. Just putting it here in case there is someone that wants to have a better go at fixing it.
