Quick Overview:

Filter element to remove pathogenic (dangerous) bacteria, parasites, fine dirt, chlorine, pesticides, solvents, oils, foul tastes and odours, dirt and sediment - to name but a few!

Unlike the inferior & cheaper supercarb filters; the Ultracarb filter is a far superior 3-stage cartridge combining the technology of filtration from ceramic, silver and activated carbon.

The first & second stage sterasyl ceramic process is impregnated with silver to make it self-sterilising. Silver inhibits the growth of bacteria. Sterasyl ceramics have a tightly controlled complex pore structure, which has unparalleled filtration properties. Ultracarb has all the benefits of Sterasyl (removal of particles, pathogenic bacteria, cysts etc.) with additional chlorine, organics and lead removal capabilities.

The third stage has an inner core of activated carbon block with removes Chlorine & all Organise Compounds.

Depending on usage, these filters can last between 6-18 months without any maintenance. (6 months if used in a public place [office/gym] with excessive use. 18 months for average home use.)
