Vintage Solid Silver Hinged Bangle Birmingham 1972 Engraved Floral 27g. With Safety Chain

A lovely wide, hinged solid silver bangle, hallmarked Birmingham 1972. The front is bright hand-engraved with flowing foliate scrolls, feathered leaf sprays and a zig-zag (engine-cut) border, while the back is left plain and polished, which is classic mid-century “half-engraved” styling. It’s a very wearable piece that sits comfortably and catches the light well.

It has a push-button tongue clasp and a fine silver safety chain, both working securely. Fully hallmarked inside.

Condition
Good vintage condition with light surface scratches and gentle wear to the engraving consistent with age and use. The hinge opens and closes smoothly, the clasp is secure and the chain is intact. There is one small dent as pictured. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
