For sale is a magnificent, highly collectible vintage statement ring featuring a large, high-domed cognac Baltic amber cabochon with rich internal organic sun spangles. This is a cherished family heirloom that has been in my family since I remember as a child (80s).
I have vivid memories of looking at this ring since I was a young child in the 1980s, fascinated by the beautiful fiery shades and light patterns made by the amber.
It is now looking for a new home where it will be appreciated by a serious collector of fine mid-century European jewelry.
The ring is fully hallmarked and authenticated: - Maker's Mark: Stamped "RYT" for the highly sought-after Rytosztuka Jewellery Cooperative (Poznań, Poland). - State Assay Hallmark: Oval stamp featuring a woman's profile, authentic to the mid-century Polish People's Republic (PRL era, circa 1963-1986).

Design: Iconic modernist space-age setting with split-shank band detailing and decorative silver beads.
Material: Solid silver and natural Baltic Amber. - Condition: Pristine vintage state with a gorgeous, unpolished aged patina on the silver.
