Vintage Copper & Brass Coal Scuttle or Vase Beaten Metal Decorative Piece

LLovely vintage copper and brass piece with a warm, rich tone and decorative beaded detailing, hand-beaten into the rim.

A really elegant, sculptural shape with a copper body, brass base and handle, all riveted and nicely made. A characterful piece with a beautiful aged patina.
This works equally well as a decorative or practical item — ideal as a small kindling bucket beside a fire, or for displaying flowers. As shown in the photos, it can hold a vase inside for arrangements and lends itself beautifully to relaxed, natural styling.

It could also make a striking wine cooler or ice bucket for entertaining, filled with ice and a bottle. If using in this way, it would be worth checking that it is watertight.
