Vintage Beverly Hilton Hotel Silver Plated Gravy Boat, International Silver Co

Vintage silver-plated double-handled gravy/sauce boat originally made for The Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, California.

Manufactured by International Silver Co. as commercial hotel silverware and clearly stamped to the base:

A really unusual piece of vintage hotelware with a fantastic connection to one of Beverly Hills’ best-known hotels.

Heavy, substantial construction with twin handles, pedestal base and shaped pouring lips. It weighs approximately 653 g.

This is silver-plated hotelware, not sterling silver.

It is in good vintage condition with surface scratches, tarnishing/patina and signs of previous use consistent with its age and commercial hotel history. I have deliberately not heavily polished it. Please see photographs for condition.
