Vintage 1950s Greek Brass & Enamel Desk Clip

This is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage mid-century brass and enamel souvenir desk paper clip/letter holder, made in Greece circa 1950s–1960s.

This heavy-duty desk accessory features exquisite double-sided Hellenic folk art enamel detailing:

Front Side: Displays a classical ancient Greek architectural column against a sky blue and white enamel backdrop, crowned with an ornate brass scroll/palmette top.

Reverse Side: Features a striking, vibrant red enamel background showcasing detailed black, white, and gold peacocks nested among green and yellow grapevines.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The colorful vitreous cloisonné enamel is remarkably intact on both sides with superb gloss and no major chipping or cracking. The solid brass body has a beautiful natural aged patina. The internal spring clamp is tight, firm, and fully functional, holding papers securely.

A perfect piece of functional mid-century modern (MCM) office decor or a wonderful addition to any vintage tobacciana, paperweight, or Greek souvenir collection.
