A lovely, collectible Scandinavian silver set in immaculate condition. The salt cellar is by Theodor Olsens Eftf of Bergen, Norway and is modelled as a Viking longship. It has dragon-head prows and a row of applied shields along each side. The hull is finished in pale ivory-white guilloche enamel over engine-turned lines. The interior is gilded, and the original clear glass liner sits inside. The matching-style salt spoon is by N.M. Thune, also of Norway.
