Sterling Silver Irish National Long Jump Medal 1949(48.4 grams)
Here is a beautiful and rare mid century sterling silver medal..that was awarded by the Irish amateur athletic union in 1949..for 2nd place for the national long jump event.The piece is two inches wide..48.4 grams and is in very clean condition. It was assayed in Dublin in 1949 and was produced by Jewellery and metal manufacturing Ltd of Kelvin Street Dublin.This is obviously a one off piece of Irish silver and I have priced it very sensibly.
