Sterling silver folding knife
Antique English folding pocket/fruit knife with a hallmarked sterling silver handle.
Made for Asprey & Co Ltd, one of the best-known British luxury retailers and silversmiths.
The silver handle carries clear English hallmarks including A & Co Ltd maker’s/sponsor’s mark, lion passant for sterling silver and Chester assay marks. Dating to the early 20th century, circa 1915.
The knife is in good antique condition with age-related surface marks and scratches, as shown in the photographs. The blade opens and closes.
