Sterling Silver and Cut Glass Sugar Sifter(1940)
Here is a beautiful and practical piece of wartime sterling silver.This silver and cut glass sifter was produced by Lanson ltd(St Dunston eorks,Pemberton Street Birmingham. It was assayed in 1940 and the piece is 7 inches tall with the lid on..The glass is deeply cut and is in perfect condition. Hallmarks are very legible and there are no problems to report.
