Wilhelm T. Binder was a German silver manufacturer founded in 1868–1869 in Schwäbisch Gmünd, one of Germany’s most important centres for silver production. The firm quickly established a strong reputation for high-quality silver holloware and decorative wares, working primarily in the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) and later Art Deco styles.
Binder produced a wide range of objects including bowls, trays, dishes, tableware, flatware and ornamental silver, characterised by confident design, clean proportions and high standards of finish.
