Wikipedia
Beautiful decorative design with substantial hammered metal fronts, large spherical sections, ornate scroll feet and tall brass finials. They have a wonderful naturally aged surface and patina, giving them a strong authentic period appearance.
Believed to date from the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. They are exceptionally striking statement pieces and would look superb in a large period fireplace, country house, traditional interior, hotel or restaurant.
Sold as the matching pair.
Very heavy and substantial.
Good authentic condition for their age, with expected tarnishing, oxidation and surface wear.
Please check all photographs carefully as they form part of the description. Wine bottle shown for scale.
