Late Nineteenth Century Brass and Copper Temple Vase

Late Nineteenth Century Brass and Copper Temple Vase Late Nineteenth Century Brass and Copper Temple Vase Silver & Metalware

This is a very interesting and genuine antique..It is a heavy gauge brass and copper Chinese temple vase(I believe these would have been used to burn incense)..10" tall and 6" wide across the waistline..The waistline has been chased with beautiful geometric patterns and features ten monks performing a ritual dance. This band is approximately 2"deep..I can see ornate dragons facing each other on the top band, which is also 2"deep..The piece is heavy and weighs nearly 10lbs.. It is not a common tourist piece and I have not found another..Very sensibly priced and the new custodian will be absolutely thrilled with their purchase.A slight ding above the waist..which will tap out quite easily.Registered post is available for an additional five euro. Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
