Elkington and Co Genuine Art Deco Sterling Silver Condiment Set. Hallmarked Birmingham 1936. Fitted Cobalt Blue Glass Liners

A charming two-piece Art Deco condiment set in sterling silver, comprising a lidded mustard pot (with hinged cover, thumbpiece, side handle and spoon slot) and a matching open salt, both raised on stepped octagonal feet and fitted with original cobalt blue glass liners.

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1936 by Elkington & Co, one of the most respected names in English silversmithing. Marks include the Elkington maker's mark, lion passant (sterling standard), Birmingham anchor, and date letter "M" for 1936. They carry the factory design number 36715.

Condition: Excellent for age. The silver has no dents, splits or repairs. The glass liners may show a few minor nibbles to the rim under close inspection but feel smooth to the touch and show no cracks.
