Early 20th Century Brass Athena Door Knocker
A solid brass 'Athena' door knocker, dating from the mid to late 1900s. It is finely moulded as a mask of the Greek goddess of wisdom and strategy. The original screws and end bolts to attach it to a door are still in place. The brass has a pleasing aged patina with a little wear due to years of use.
16 cm long x 12 cm wide 4.5 cm deep approximately.
Weighs just under 1 kg!!
