Art Deco sterling silver 154g cruet salt pepper set 1911 1914
A substantial antique sterling silver salt, pepper and mustard set dating from the 1910s and made by William Aitken.
It has a lovely curved design with ball feet and beaded rims.
The two peppers are hallmarked for Birmingham 1914, the salt Birmingham 1912 and the mustard Birmingham 1911, but all are stamped for William Aitken. The mustard spoon is hallmarked Sheffield 1966 and by CJ Vander Ltd.
The blue glass liners are in very good condition, though the silver itself needs a polish.
The total weight of the silver is 154g.
