Antique Sterling Silver Salt Cellars Sheffield 1902 Cased Pair

Beautiful antique pair of sterling silver salt cellars, fully hallmarked Sheffield 1902.
Very good quality Edwardian silver pieces with decorative gadrooned rims, elegant tripod feet and lovely original fitted presentation case with rich burgundy lining. Heavy and impressive for their size, total silver weight approx. 130.11 g for the pair.
Fully hallmarked with maker’s mark JD&S, Sheffield assay mark, lion passant for sterling silver, and date letter for 1902.
Condition is antique, with age-related patina, tarnish and surface marks inside and outside, as shown in photos. The case also shows age-related wear, but presents beautifully and makes the set feel very special.
