Aet Nouvea Pyramid Shaped Sterling Silver Topped Bottle
This is a rare pyramid shaped glass small decanter/dressing table piece with a flared sterling silver top and crystal glass insert. The piece was produced by John Grinsell & Sons of Victoria works,St George's Birmingham..and was assayed in the city in 1911..It is 5.5 inches tall and 3.25x2.25 inches across the base. The sterling silver top has a super cool flared design and a gilded hallmarked inner. The hinged mechanism is perfect and this piece carries it's own numerical mark(it's quite probably a commissioned piece and the number is for their own records)..There is one slight burr on of the corners as per photos..Pyramid bottles of this period are a rarity to find today..and it's size leads it to being a spirit decanter for outings..especially with the original stopper in place..Registered post is available for an additional five euro. Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
