A Pair of Sterling Silver Knife Rests (1904 72 grams)
Here is a superb pair of sterling silver knife rests..that were assayed in Sheffield in 1904 and produced by Henry Wigfull,John's street works,Highfield Sheffield. They are three inches long,of solid construction and weigh 72 grams.There is a very good chance that these were brought by an officer to the battlefields of WW1..I.in order to keep the grime off his cutlery.I have paired these up with a very clean wooden presentation box..and they are an excellent fit.Registered post is available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
