Ultra-Rare Vintage Original HB Ice Cream Reverse Painted Glass Shop Sign (c. 1930s/50s)

An incredible piece of Irish social and retail history. Up for sale is a genuine, original vintage "FAMOUS HB CREAM ICES - SOLD ONLY HERE" shopfront advertising sign, dating back to the early eras of the Hughes Brothers brand (c. 1930s–1950s).

Unlike the common reproduction tin signs or mass-produced plastic variants, this is an authentic reverse-painted glass housed in its heavy, original wrought-iron hanging frame.

Finding an authentic glass sign from this era that has survived intact without being smashed or heavily cracked is exceptionally rare.

• Details & Condition: Features the iconic early striped "HB" lettering layout. Shows an beautiful, authentic aged patina with light crazing to the black background paint that only enhances its vintage character. No critical damage or deep structural breaks to the glass itself.
