Vintage French Threads Dollus - Meig & Co.

This is an original French box of 100% cotton threads by the Company Dollus-Meig & Co.

The French company Dollus-Meig and Co was founded in the 1746 by Jean-Henri Dollus and Daniel Dollus later adding Mieg & Co to extend the name in 1800. The company still trades today.

The box is original with the company labels and logo on both the lid and sides. It would of held 12 skeins of the same colour as per the colour code on the box.
