Sewing Box from the 40's
This belonged to my grandmother, she used to make her own dresses. It has 3 compartments with the top two opening to reveal the third. There is two side compartments, one for spools of thread and the other for Patterns. It has tools, pins and needles, fabrics, spools of thread in various colours, marking chalk, laundry pens, Serrated scissors and a booklet from 1960. The castors are not the originals. It good do with a revarnish. But this is a unique piece, suitable for a Seamstress or Dressmaker.
