Jack E4 Overlock machine

This is a JACK E4 industrial overlock machine (a serger), set up on its table with a thread stand and foot pedal.
JACK (杰克) is a Chinese industrial sewing-machine brand. The E4 is a high-speed 4-thread overlocker: the four grey tension knobs on the front match the usual needle and looper threads, and the chain of stitches sitting to the left of the needle area is a typical overlock chain. The blue panel on the right is the speed control (速度 / Speed), currently showing 8.8.
It trims the fabric edge and wraps it in thread in one pass, so it is used for seaming and finishing knits and wovens (T-shirts, activewear, seams that need to stretch) rather than for straight stitching like a lockstitch machine. The large cones on the stand are the thread supply for those four paths.
