Synology DiskStation DS220j 2-Bay NAS Data Storage (Perfect for Photo & Media Backups)

Selling my Synology DS220j. In perfect working order and excellent condition. Only selling because I’ve upgraded my setup, so this is no longer needed.

I used it mainly as a Google Photos alternative to automatically sync photos and videos from my phone, for data backups, and for storing heavy video source files. It’s really handy for offloading RAW photos from a camera and large video files so you don't clog up your computer drives.

Software-wise, Synology has a huge ecosystem of apps for all kinds of tasks, which completely sets it apart from a standard backup drive - it’s essentially a proper home server.

Important: Selling diskless (no hard drives included).

The unit has been fully factory reset and is ready to plug in. The fan is quiet and doesn't bother you in the room.
