### Sowing

Sow indoors from **March to July**.

Sow thinly in a seed tray or flowerpot and cover lightly with compost. Keep warm and evenly moist while seeds germinate. Transplant seedlings after around 4 weeks, or thin slightly if growing directly in containers.

Grow in a warm, sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil. Harvest leaves often to encourage bushy growth. Pinch out flower buds if growing mainly for leaves, or let the lavender flowers bloom for extra colour and pollinator interest.
