The BYD SEALION 7 Excellence AWD is the flagship of the SEALION 7 range, combining serious electric performance with premium technology, sophisticated styling and the practicality of a spacious SUV.

530PS – AWD – 0–100KM/H IN JUST 4.5 SECONDS

The Excellence AWD uses dual electric motors to provide intelligent all-wheel drive, producing 390kW / 530PS and 690Nm of torque.

That translates into a 0–100km/h time of just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 215km/h. It is seriously quick for a large SUV, yet the instant delivery of electric torque keeps the experience smooth and effortless.

The intelligent AWD system can distribute power between the front and rear motors, providing the performance you'd expect from the flagship SEALION 7 while adding confidence in changing road conditions.

The Excellence AWD features BYD's 91.3kWh Blade Battery, giving it up to 502km WLTP combined range.

For Irish motorists, that makes the SEALION 7 a genuinely capable long-distance EV. Whether you're commuting around Dublin, travelling to Cork or Galway, or heading across the country for a weekend away, the combination of battery capacity and rapid charging makes longer journeys considerably easier.

The Excellence AWD supports up to 230kW DC rapid charging, with BYD quoting approximately 10–80% charging in 24 minutes under suitable conditions.
