Vintage 20" Tribal Fertility Fetish
Here is a beautiful and tactile fertility fetish..This piece has a Fabolous patina and I am confident in describing it as early 20th century.These were given by men to their women to help with fertility and to keep their partner and baby safe during pregnancy..Of African origin..the new owner can investigate which tribe it belongs to .Some of these large pieces fetch in to the high hundreds.The lady is 20" tall..of hardwood construction and is very well composed and detailed.Some lip loss as per photos..the base is irregular shaped and the carver worked with what they had.Registered post available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
