• 2 × solid hardwood boards/timber,
approximately 45 × 70 mm × 2 m

• 3 × hardwood round dowel/round bar,
32–35 mm diameter × approximately 2.4 m
Preferably beech.
Ash or oak would also be suitable.
The wood needs to be solid, straight and free from large knots/cracks.
