African Sculptures
Vintage lot of 2 hand-carved African sculptures - Zimbabwe Shona stone elephant and African carved bone tribal female bust on wooden base.
The Shona piece is a heavy polished dark green verdite/serpentine leaf form with a stylised elephant head carved in relief, approx 10cm high.
The bone piece is a tall slender female bust with braided headdress and beaded necklace with antiqued stain detail, approx 15cm high with base.
Both in good vintage condition with light surface wear and polish marks consistent with age, no major chips. Selling as a pair for €50 ONO, collection Dublin or A Post extra.
