Genuine Vintage Persian Rug. Medium size.
Beautiful Persian rug, bought in Switzer's in 1990's. Lovely vibrant colours. Size is 1.60 meters by 1.08 meters so 1.74 square meters. Weight is about 7kg. 100% wool pile. From OCM (Oriental Carpet Manufacturers). Hand knotted in Iran. Fringe on one end only. Hamadam tyoe. Serial number is 994/770/0040. Individual piece. Authenticating label, as shown in photo 3, is available but no longer attached to back of rug. Used but in good condition and reasonably clean. The band on the end (kilim?)needs cleaning. Collection only from Castleknock.
