Moving house so selling some of my quality hand knotted Persian 100% Wool rugs.
Stunning finely knotted Persian Tabriz in very good condition, woven in wool with silk highlights that lift the details and give the design a gentle, elegant sheen. The craftsmanship is immediately clear in the precision of the motifs and the clarity of the drawing, typical of high‑quality work from Tabriz.The design centres on a balanced medallion set within a rich red field, surrounded by intricate floral and vine motifs that flow outward with symmetry and control.
The borders frame the rug with layered ornamentation, including a cream inner band and a deep navy outer border filled with refined floral work. The close‑up sections show delicate blossoms, curling leaves and finely shaded details that demonstrate both skill and artistic intention.The colours are warm and harmonious. The main field is a deep red, complemented by cream, beige and soft pink accents. Teal and turquoise tones appear in the floral elements, adding contrast, while black and navy outlines give structure and depth.
Leather straps on the back to keep aligned on the floor.
