TP-Link AV1200 Powerline Adapter Kit
TP-Link AV1200 Powerline Adapter Kit (with UK/Ireland 3-pin pass-through sockets).
Instead of running long Ethernet cables through your walls, a powerline kit uses your home’s existing electrical wiring to transmit your internet connection from your router to another room.
Here is a breakdown of what each piece does and how they work together:
The Two Different Units
The Smaller Unit (Right): This is typically the sender/base unit. You plug this into a wall outlet near your main internet router and connect it to the router using an Ethernet cable.
The Larger Unit (Left): This is the receiver/extender unit. You plug this into a wall outlet in a room where you have poor signal (like a home office or bedroom).
Notice the two extra wireless signal icons on the far right of this unit? This means it is a Wi-Fi clone/extender model (likely the TL-WPA8630). It doesn't just give you an Ethernet port; it actually broadcasts a fresh Wi-Fi hotspot in that distant room
