Hi performance Huawei B818-263 4g router modified to work with external antenna (this means the internal WiFi does not work and the router should be connected to a mesh WiFi system like orbi). I have personally got speeds of 140Mbps from a tower 13.5km away and 100Mbps from a tower 20km away with this router and 2 xpol antennas. I have learned a lot about how to set these up and happy to share with the buyer beyond the sale. This will save you time and money. Do not buy this if you are not planning to add external antennas. I can meet somewhere for a serious buyer. No offers please.

Hi The purpose of disabling the wifi RF points was to reuse them as part of the 4 RF ports that are now exposed meaning that you can connect 2 separate antennas and use carrier aggregation to maximise your download speed because the router can ask for a connection on multiple frequencies. The mod was done by a company called router mods and I purchased it like that. It would not be worth trying to remod it. I'm not sure if the firmware version but it's fully unlocked and tested with multiple Sims.

Hi. When you say modified, what firmware is it running? Also,what was the purpose of disabling the internal wifi chipset? (can this be re-enabled via interface?) Thank you
