This is a specialised float rod for big fish and big floats. I've used it for big tench and bream on deep Irish loughs and trotting big floats on fast rivers in winter for big roach and hybrids. It will cast 25g plus and still hit bites. It will land any coarse fish that swims here.
It was originally one of Shimano's top of the range rods with the distinctive Diaflash (df) cross carbon weave on the blank. I'm only selling as I don't have as much time for fishing these days and it hasn't been used in ages.
Open to offers but to buy this quality of 15ft rod new today would cost approx €300 so no silly offers please.
