Shimano Diaflash "The Bug" 12' 3lb TC

Shimano Diaflash "The Bug" 12' 3lb TC. Very sought after Carp rod that makes an excellent Pike all rounder.

In good used condition. One ring was replaced a few years ago after it lost an insert. Replaced ring shown in photo. All else original. Plenty of space left on the spigot, see photo. Striking X weave blank.

Fuji reel seat, Fuji rings. Reel seat working as it should and rings intact, no cracks, damage or grooving. The rings are braid proof, but I have only ever used it with mono. These rods have lendendary status amongst Carp and Pike fishermen. I have caught hundreds and hundreds of pike on this, inclduing 2 30's which it handled with ease.

Collection preferably as few couriers take 12' 2 piece rods, and those that do are unreliable.

Only selling as I've upgraded to custom build harrisons, otherwise there's little even now to match it as more recent Carp rods are too soft in the top 2' and too stiff in the bottom 10' to make decent pike rods. There aren't any dedicated pike rods available at this money to compare with it.

Comes with bag, which has seen little use.
