Vintage Rudge Bicycle.

This is a bike that I have owned for over 20 years, at one point it was my daily commuter bike to work and the dynamo lighting system was fully powering and lighting both rear and front lights while cycling. I was told when I had it service in Look Mum No Hands in London that the bike is probably 1940’s or 50’s but I have not been able to confirm. It needs a lot of attention now to bring it back to being roadworthy but it could be a lovely project for someone or even just to be used a display piece in a pub etc. I had a new gear system put on it at the time and new brake pads but again all of this needs looking at again. Original leather Brooks saddle is still on it too.
I had every intention of bringing this bike back to life but I’ve struggled to find time to make that happen so I’m hoping someone else can!
