Vintage Peugeot HLE Premiere Road Bike (Single Speed)

Lovely vintage Peugeot HLE-Première steel-frame road bike, converted to a single-speed with freewheel hub,

It’s got a cracking metallic turquoise frame with the original Peugeot decals and detailing. Really lovely looking bike with loads of character, perfect for tipping around town.

It’s been converted to a single-speed freewheel, making it a great little bike for commuting, popping to the shops or heading down to the pub, which is mainly what i had it for.

* Single-speed conversion with freewheel
* Aftermarket chainset and chainring
* Mavic CXP 33 wheels
* Shimano Tiagra front and rear caliper brakes
* Schwalbe Marathon Plus puncture-resistant tyres
* Flux saddle
* Updated handlebars, stem and headset
* Standard flat pedals

The bike rides well, the drivetrain is clean and in good condition, and the tyres have loads of life left in them. The handlebar grip tape could do with a refresh, but otherwise it’s a grand little bike that’s ready to ride.

I’m 5’6” and have ridden it myself, although it’s slightly on the large side for me. Would probably suit someone a little taller say 5’9”.

I’ve simply got too many bikes, and this one isn’t getting the use it deserves.
