Vintage 1976 'Yvars Paris' 10 speed racing bicycle

Lovely restored late 70's French 10 speed racer bicycle. 'Yvars Paris' brand- small local bike builder from the 70s and 80s.


restored with brand new brake pads, chain, saddle, brake and gear cables/housing, handlebar tape, bottle cage, pedals and tyres. Rear cassette is a NOS Cyclo France freewheel.

all bearings in headset, bottom bracket and axles have been cleaned and regreased with new bearings added. Seatpost is freely moving and has been freshly greased.

Frame is sound with no dents or cracks, it has some rust areas typical of a bike of its era, these spots have been cleaned and painted with gold metal paint in a Japanese Kintsuge style to preserve the original paint and artistically highlight the weathering on the frame.

Size Medium to Large 58 CM from bottom bracket to seatpost top, 57cm from seatpost to headset. (i'm 5'8 and this bike fits me well)

currently fitted with comfortable moustache handlebars but can be supplied with more standard bullhorns.

Campagnolo Valentino derailleurs and shifters.
