Project: vintage Raleigh Routier road bike
Hello all - I'm having a clearout of the bike shed and here's another lovely little project to keep you busy this winter. Some auto-generated text:
Raleigh Routier, a mid-to-late 1980s Nottingham-built road/light-touring bike. Maroon frame with the classic white head tube and Raleigh heron head badge, “ROUTIER” top-tube decal and Raleigh script on the down tube. Raleigh 18-23 high-tensile steel tubing (original tubing sticker still on the seat tube). SR alloy stem, drop bars, downtube shifters, double chainset, side-pull caliper brakes, toe-clip pedals, Schwalbe tyre on the front. Still carries its original dealer sticker from a cycle shop on Abbey Street, Bangor, Co. Down. Frame size approx. 21] inches."
As you can see, the crossbar is damaged from a failed attempt at theft. Infuriating. Otherwise no particular damage that I can see, just needs a nice rebuild.
