Project: vintage Raleigh road bike - 1980s
Hello all - I'm having a clearout of the bike shed and here's another lovely little vintage-bike project to keep you busy this winter. Some auto-generated text:
"Vintage Raleigh road bike from the mid-1980s, built in Nottingham. Model decals are gone, but the Raleigh-branded alloy stem and chainset and the Raleigh “R” seat bolt are all original 1980s Raleigh fittings. Maroon steel frame, drop handlebars, downtube shifters, double chainset, side-pull caliper brakes, pump pegs on the top tube, rear carrier fitted. 27" wheels. Frame size approx. 23.5 inches."
As you can see, the left-hand fork is damaged. Otherwise no particular damage that I can see, just needs a nice rebuild.
