Merida Speeder 400 (Shimano 105 Mech and Chainset)

Light, versatile, speedy and comfortable – The Speeder is a fast lightweight (9.6kg) bike, sharing its genes with road bikes. The geometry of the bike, along with its long head tube, offers a more upright and comfortable riding position making this bike ideal for fast commuting or fitness rides.

Owned from new (€1200). Size L (56) which according to Merida is from ~5’ 10 - ~ 6’ 2 but you're welcome to try sizing out as that’s a general guide from Merida and some outside that range might find it suitable also.

See below specs and where upgrades have been made. Also comes with a water bottle cage and pump holder + pump. Also added stubby bullhorns to aid comfort and climbing.

Recently serviced with brand new gear cables and chain installed (07/04/25)

Some cosmetic chips on the Top tube (in pics) and wear marks on the Head Tube from cables brushing off it when turning. Otherwise in great condition and mechanically sound.

Upgraded pedals provide more grip and work for both normal footwear and cycling shoes. Original pedals also included in the sale.
