Very reluctant sale of my beautiful 2013 Specialized Shiv Expert.

This bike has had an exceptionally easy life. It was bought for racing but has only done a handful of races and has seen very limited use otherwise. It has never been a high-mileage training bike and is in fantastic condition for its age.

The Shiv is a proper purpose-built carbon triathlon/TT machine and this one has been upgraded into a seriously impressive, completely race-ready setup.

• Shimano Dura-Ace groupset
• Zipp 60 carbon aero wheelset
• Garmin Vector 2 single-sided power-meter pedals
• ISM 40 triathlon saddle
• Profile Design HSF 800 front hydration system / tank
• Specialized aero cockpit
• Full aero triathlon/TT setup

Everything you need is already on the bike – aero wheels, power meter, proper ISM tri saddle and front hydration. Add your Garmin and go racing.

It would make a fantastic setup for someone taking on an Ironman, 70.3, triathlon or time trial, without having to spend the enormous money required for a comparable modern setup.

The biggest thing with this bike is its history: only a handful of races from new and exceptionally lightly used.

My preference is to sell it exactly as it sits, completely race-ready.

I would, however, consider selling the bike separately and breaking out the Zipp 60 wheelset, Garmin Vector power-meter pedals, ISM saddle and Profile Design HSF 800 hydration system if required.
