REPTILE NOVA 10.0 DESERT is a fluorescent bulb with a high level of UVB radiation, imitating the light conditions found in steppes and semi-deserts.

The high intensity of UVB radiation is suitable for animal species with high UV requirements, which in their natural environment occur in semi-desert areas. The high UVB content promotes effective vitamin D3 synthesis, while supporting calcium absorption and preventing metabolic diseases. The fluorescent lamp also emits UVA radiation, which stimulates appetite and reproductive behaviour.

When choosing a fluorescent lamp, please select the appropriate lighting for the species of animal being bred and maintain a minimum distance between the lamp and the animal (15 cm), with a maximum range of 40 cm.

Lamps and fluorescent tubes are covered by a standard warranty. However, this does not apply to the breakage of light fibres, which is a normal part of the wear and tear process (the standard service life is approximately 8 months).
