Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6600C4 serviced and UPGRADED

Hi all,

Selling a newly serviced, made in sweden 6600C4 New grease in the gears and drag, new oil on the bearings and a clean.

I put in a new, bearing-supported idler gear, which is what connects the spool gear to the levelwind. The idler gear is a notorious robber of freespool momentum. This helps casting distance and freespool smoothness.

I have also put in US-imported aftermarket carbontex drag washers, which give the reel an exceptionally smooth drag and will add some extra

This is a right hand retrieve baitcaster, which is the most common type.

Does have some signs of use, some cosmetic chipping of the anodised frame and a few small shallow scratches. It's not unused, but it's in great shape.

Excellent for anyone looking for a smooth, forgiving baitcaster that is easy to maintain, easy to repair and will 100% outperform and outlast and outclass any baitcaster in the same price range. Abu Garcia stopped making reels in Sweden in 2025, so now these reels are a level of quality that you're not goin to get from the newer stuff.

Comes with original box, and I'll throw in a magnetic net release.
