Zoom LiveTrak L-8 mixer/recorder/audio interface
Zoom LiveTrak L-8 Mixer / Recorder / Audio Interface – 3 Available
Small box, big brain. The Zoom LiveTrak L-8 is a mixer, a multitrack recorder and a USB audio interface all in one, and it's light enough to throw in a backpack.
I used these to run backing tracks in live bands. With multiple outputs, you can send multiple tracks to front of house or multiple monitor mixes. They were reliable gig after gig and were the perfect upgrade from the limited ipod/ipad/laptop stereo output.
But it's not just for bands. It's just as good for:
Podcasting: four headphone outputs, phone input for remote guests, and six pads for jingles and intros
Home recording: record every channel separately to SD card or straight into your computer
Busking and outdoor gigs: runs on AA batteries or a USB power bank
New price is €425. Grab one for a fraction of that at 285 each but will do a deal if anyone wants 2 or 3 of them.
All in great working order. Always lived in a flight case.
