@AVCork yes was a wee nightmare changing over and talkback etc is all different.
Still getting used to it .
I still have 192s etc to get rid of but no one seems interested !!
Got the S3 cheap via Windmill Lane as film section went into liquidation.

I bought a few faders for C24 awhile back and they were 60 each…

I was thinking the same thing about the spare faders, definitely something I would consider. But i think i’d have bigger problems if my wife saw me bringing that back to the house lol. I’ll think on it, but it’s probably not feasible.
You will enjoy the smaller footprint on the desk and better fader experience on the S3. You’ll miss the transport section though I’d imagine. Just watched a video on the S3 and saw the transport shortcuts, they’ll probably just become muscle memory for you after a while. That’s the route I would also probably go in the future, curious to know what you paid for it. Of course then I’f have to replace the 5.1 monitor section too etc…

Absolutely loved it . I had a S3 in reserve for when she eventually broke, I knew would have to make the change eventually.
It’s probably a power bank that’s gone for one of the 3x8 patches of faders.
Was gutted to be honest.
If you’re looking for spares there was only 1 fader that was dodgy.

What a shame, it’s a beast of a unit. Always loved that design. I’m rocking the C|24 for the last 15 years nearly and wondering when it will eventually pack it in too. Is there nothing you can do to fix it?
