Avid Mbox Pro 3rd Generation Firewire

The Mbox 3 Pro offers 4 mic inputs (2 XLR/TRS combo inputs and 2 XLR inputs) with 48V phantom power and high-pass filters. The box also has 4 1/4" line inputs, as well as RCA and 3.5mm mini Alt line inputs for versatility. A set of 6 1/4" line outputs lets you connect up to 3 pairs of monitor speakers or a 5.1 surround monitoring system**. Stereo S/PDIF digital I/O connectors allow you to connect digital audio devices, while MIDI I/O connectors provide compatibility with a variety of controllers and devices. Word clock I/O connectors let you connect to an external clock device for perfect syncing.

The front panel offers a monitor control section with Mono, Mute, Dim, Source, and Speaker Switching controls, as well as gain controls. An assignable Pro Tools multifunction button provides fast access to software functions. A pair of 1/4" headphone jacks with volume control knobs allow 2 users to monitor audio privately. A large dedicated monitor volume knob gives you easy control over master volume.

Additional features of the Mbox 3 Pro include integrated DSP for flexible cue mixing and reverb effects, a soft-clip limiter that lets you track hot signals without clipping, and a built-in guitar tuner.
