Generator runs for 4 minutes and then dies out. I changed the carburator but it made no difference. Still dies out. It does generate electricity while running. Just cant fix it.

Did you check compression on it below 90psi is shit also check coil for spark when it stops could be coil breaking down when it gets hot.

Check the oil level, screw out the yellow bung and fill to the level of the opening with 10w30 or sae30 oil. Itll only take about a litre from empty so likely will only need about 300ml. The oil sensor shuts off the spark to the engine if the oil level drops too low. What can happen with these is that when it has been sitting the oil settles but when it has been running for a couple of minutes the oil has gotten up in the engine so the level drops slightly. There cannot be much wrong with it if it runs for 4 minutes. The only other thing I would check is the little strainer on the end of the fuel tap in the tank

@mick1gallagher Hi Mick. I dont know anything about engines. A lad who works on lawnmowers looked at it and said that it might be that but that he wouldnt touch it. I got caught big time buying it off here. I paid E700. I just want to get something back for it but I wont pretend its working like how I was caught.
